No. Airbnb has no part in maintaining your property, nor is there a regular maintenance fee on Airbnb or other booking sites. If a guest breaks or damages something (beyond normal wear and tear), we will open a dispute via the booking site and charge them for replacement costs and labor. However, it’s important to consider the average annual cost of regular maintenance when establishing your nightly booking prices. Fortunately, the team at Square House can help you do that.
We offer a complimentary VRBO and Airbnb maintenance service to all our clients, ensuring that your property maintains the highest guest standards. We manage hundreds of properties and can help you understand the normal, ongoing costs of owning a short-term rental property.

After each guest checks out, our local team members will enter your property to check for any damaged or broken items, replace toiletries and other consumables, and thoroughly clean everything. If something needs attention, we’ll fix or replace it immediately, or schedule a time to come back and complete the repair.
For larger repairs over $200, we will contact you to discuss the issue and confirm your payment method. We’ll then arrange the supplies and labor to make the repair. For emergencies, we will immediately contact a local professional to prevent any lasting damage to your property.
